Common questions
- How do I play?
- Swipe up, down, left, or right to slide all tiles. When two tiles with the same number touch, they merge into one tile with their combined value. Reach the 2048 tile to win — then keep going for a higher score.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Your best scores, stats, and settings are saved on your device.
- Is my game saved if I leave mid-run?
- Yes. Your in-progress board is saved automatically, and your best score updates on every move. Tap Continue on the home screen to resume exactly where you left off.
- What are Wild and Blocker tiles?
- A Wild (star) tile merges with any number tile. A Blocker (black) tile cannot be moved or merged and acts as an obstacle. You can turn each on or off in Settings; changes apply to your next new game.
- How does Undo work?
- You get a few free undos each game. After those are used, you can watch an optional rewarded video to undo another move.
- What is the Add Wildcard power-up?
- Watch an optional rewarded video to drop a Wild (star) tile onto the board, which can help you set up a big merge.
- What are the different board sizes?
- You can play on 3×3, 4×4 (classic), or 5×5. Best scores are tracked separately per size.
- What does Remove Ads do?
- Remove Ads is a one-time purchase that turns off the banner and full-screen ads. Optional rewarded videos (for undos and wildcards) remain available if you choose to watch them.
- How do I restore my purchase?
- Open Settings → Restore Purchases. Remove Ads will be re-applied to your device.
- How do I delete my data?
- Uninstall the app. All local game data is removed from your device.
